About The Therapist

Earthflower Therapies is the complementary therapy business of Emma Charlton ITHMA MIFPA PGCE.

I trained over a decade ago at the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA), the college where I now teach. After qualifying I worked in a busy London multidisciplinary clinic for several years, leaving to set up the Earthflower Therapy clinic in Twickenham, South West London. Here clients see me for a wide range of reasons, from painful musculo-skeletal disorders to a simple desire for pampering & relaxation. I also run a weekly clinic at the Cara Trust, an organisation for people living with or affected by HIV / AIDS.

Over the years my work experience and training has involved:-

I am a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA), the UK’s largest professional body for aromatherapists. I’m also registered as an aromatherapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK’s regulation body for complementary therapies. As a member of both organisations I adhere to strict codes of professional practice, conduct and ethics. I’m also a member of the NO HANDS MASSAGE Association and take advantage of the professional support it offers, as well as being an active member of an aromatherapy networking group. Importantly, I attend regular training courses to keep my knowledge fresh and up to date.

A crucial part of my on-going learning and development is receiving regular complementary therapy treatments myself. This is key to maintaining my health, happiness and general wellbeing!

Earthflower Therapy treatments are available in Twickenham, South West London and at Cara Trust, a London-based charity working with people living with or affected by HIV / AIDS.
