105 Lincoln Avenue

Twickenham TW2 6NJ

Travel, parking and bikes

Driving

Access to Lincoln Avenue is from Meadway, which runs between the A316 (Chertsey Road) and Staines Road. Note that Twickenham and the surrounding areas are heavily affected by rugby & other Twickenham Stadium events – check here for listings. Leave extra travel time if your treatment clashes with a major stadium event.

PARKING - please read this if you’re driving

if the white box directly outside number 105 is free then please park there. If it is not free, then look for another white box on the street. The white boxes are a little contentious, as many are painted in front of residents’ driveways. I would really appreciate it if you avoid blocking any of my neighbours drives please, regardless of whether there is an empty white box or not. The good news is that there are no residents parking restrictions.

Train

The closest station is Whitton Station (South Western Railway)Turn left out of the station & first left onto Jubilee Avenue. Left at the end & left again into an underpass – this will take you underneath the main road. Exit the underpass & turn left onto Meadway. Lincoln Avenue is the 1st road on the right hand side. Its about a 15 minute walk from the station.

Bus

490 & H22. Regular buses from Twickenham & Richmond (the nearest underground station). If coming from the Twickenham direction alight at the stop ‘1st Cross Road’ (outside The Sussex pub). Walk in the same direction of the bus & turn right onto Meadway. After about 5 minutes, after you’ve passed the park, take the first left onto Lincoln Avenue. It’s about a 10 minute walk.

Shorter route, recommended for daylight hours only: Alight at ‘Mill Road’ (2 stops further than 1st Cross Road). Cross the main road & walk down Mill Road (opposite the bus stop). The street ends in the park. Walk straight ahead through the park & across at the ‘cross roads’, exiting the park via the passageway. Turn right onto Lincoln Avenue - 105 is a few minutes walk, on the same side of the street.

Bike

I’m a cyclist myself, so I always do my best to accommodate clients’ bikes. Let me know if you’re going to cycle and I’ll try to ensure there is space in our bike shed. My bike shed door doesn’t lock, so I recommend that you bring a bike lock. I’m afraid I have to say that bikes are left at your own risk.
