What participants enjoyed most about my on-line workshops…

“Everything, the content, the relaxed and friendly enviroment, guessing the oils and seeing the different reactions and making the blend.”

“The sense of no judgement and felt free to be myself.”

“The things I learnt about the different oils and getting to make something I can take away with me.”

What else is on offer?

I facilitate bespoke workshops for small groups or organisations, organised on request. Fun, informal, informative and interactive, I design workshops to meet your needs and wishes. Examples include learning simple massage techniques, making hand creams / other aromatherapy products, or a general introduction to aromatherapy / exploring ways of using aromatherapy in your workplace.  Or perhaps you would prefer a workshop which focuses on stress-busting, or on a specific mental health topic. Certain workshops can take place on-line (using Zoom), topic depending.

I also provide 1-2-1 and small group massage tuition, including refresher sessions for qualified practitioners.

I am an experienced diploma-level aromatherapy theory and massage tutor - see below.

I am an experienced anatomy and mental health educator - see below.

Experience & qualifications

I am an experienced massage and aromatherapy educator. I am the Lead Massage Tutor at The Well School, a leading UK aromatherapy training school, and a member of the teaching team at From the Seed Aromatherapy, where I teach short courses with professional aromatherapists. I am also a member of highly regarded yoga teacher Norman Blair’s training team. I lead regular, interactive anatomy learning sessions with his yoga students, mostly exploring my favourite anatomical subject: the fascinations of fascia!

For many years I have led fun and informal massage workshops at summer festivals and events.

Previously, I worked for many years at a leading London aromatherapy training school, the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA), under the leadership of the internationally respected aromatherapist Gabriel Mojay. There, I held the posts of Lead Massage Tutor and Vice Principal. I also taught aromatherapy theory, both at ITHMA and at the former Raworth College in Dorking.

I facilitated regular mental health and wellbeing workshops for over a decade, largely as part of a part-time role managing a mental health awareness project in north London. I am very experienced in holding safe and supportive spaces which encourage discussion and understanding about sometimes sensitive issues.

I hold a PGCE (teacher training qualification) from Christchurch Canterbury University, which I studied for at London’s South Thames College.
